How it works

  1. 1. Snap

Pick any photo of a thing your kid loves — the dog, a dinosaur toy, grandma's cat.

  2. 2. Watch & draw along

The photo becomes real pencil strokes, shown slowly, a few at a time, with short spoken instructions a pre-reader can follow.

  3. 3. Color it in

The lesson ends in a printable coloring page of that exact picture — the same lines they just drew.

Built by a dad, for his kids.

My kids loved draw-along videos, but were always asking the same question: "Can it show me how to draw our house?" Or their favorite football player. Or Grandma's cat. The answer was always no.

So I built a tool that turns any photo into a step-by-step drawing lesson. Kids draw on real paper, learn actual drawing skills, and create pictures of the things they care about most.

It's the only kind of screen time I've seen that ends with crayons on the floor.

Questions parents ask

What happens to my photos?
They're processed to make the coloring page and drawing steps, then immediately discarded. Our server never stores them — and an automated test in our codebase fails our releases if photo-storing code ever appears. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Is it really free to try?
Yes — your first drawing lesson needs no account at all. A free family account gives you 3 lessons a month; unlimited is $6.99/month or $49/year with a 7-day free trial.
Why does a kids' app charge on a website instead of in an app store?
Because parents pay on the web — kids never see a price, a button, or a nag. It also means one-click cancellation in a standard Stripe portal instead of subscription mazes.
What does it run on?
Any modern browser. It's built tablet-first — an iPad is the sweet spot — and works on phones and computers. You can add it to the home screen like an app, and saved drawings replay offline.
Is it safe for kids?
No ads, no streaks, no timers, no third-party trackers on kid screens, nothing to buy on any screen a kid sees. Accounts belong to parents (COPPA-compliant). The drawing is the most exciting thing on screen — on purpose.
